    Hello.

What would happen if I buy like 100 domains and fill them with content and link them all with each other?

I guess Google would notice because of the same IPs and WHOIS information?
So how many different IPs do I need for 100 domains linking each other?

But if I have 100 domains and each has an own IP, will google notice if it is like this?:

    IP: 212.212.212.001 = domain1
    IP: 212.212.212.002 = domain2
    IP: 212.212.212.003 = domain3
    ....
    IP: 212.212.212.100 = domain100
    ???

It is a very spammy technique and should be avoided. Techniques like this are only good for short term gain. There is a good chance that some of the search engines would pick up on this and ban you. Google hates excessive cross linking between your own websites.

For the amount of time it would take to setup such a network, it just wouldn't be worth the risk. Each site would need its own content and some incoming links. You would be better off focusing that effort on marketing 1 or 2 websites.

I see, thank you very much for this explanation.
Well the thing is, I see a lot of well ranked sites which are using exactly the same techniques.

And how can Google or another Search Engine know that all those sites belong to me when I host them on diffent IPs/Servers??

    Regards,
    Paul

I dont know. But do you think this would work out in real time ?
You could write and get PR10 by the time you try and experiment with this trick.

Think you can manage 100 sites and get good quality content on each one? Sounds like you're designing for Search Engines and not for viewers.

Aside from that, finding hosting with 100 unique IPs (as in, not similar at all, which will require multiple hosts with different blocks of IPs in different locations) is probably very expensive.

you will be wasting your time. All these things sounds nice of dong this and doing that but eventually most of the people never manages to do them. Building 100 sites and putting unique content takes lot of time and the return is very low. I had covered this point of returns and time investment in one of my blog post, you can read it and I hope will get some help from it

    Well I get your points.

    @poseidon:
If 100 sites with unqiue content will bring low return, so what brings return then?

    Off course
Instead maintain five to eight sites regularly you will get good returns or maintain one site only and make it so much popular that its difficult for your competitor to stand in front of you. This is what i do with my client site. I have only three satisfied clients.
