Anyone use this service? (http://www.linkmetro.com/) I like how they sort websites by Pagerank. I sent a batch of requests and got no replies so I withdrew them. Then this week I sent another batch and have had about 5 websites with high PR add me...not sure how aggressive I'll get with this though...these aren't traffic generating links since everyone slaps you on a "links" page but maybe they'll help with my blogs "trust" on search engines?
Backlinks are backlinks and not a bad thing per se. That being said, be careful who you link to. You also don't want to link to sites that are completely unrelated or link out to bad neighborhoods, as that could impact your site trust.
