    OK, Im bringing this here because Ive not had any help from linkmetro so far. Ive just upgraded to an 'Advanced Member' and I now find that the link exchange mechanism is not functioning at all. Every time i try to request a link exchange i get the following error:
    I have contacted support for assistance but all I got was "give us your login details and we'll fix it". I did and I've had no further response. It is still broken. The link manager is installed on my site correctly as far as I can see, but I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this and if so what was the resolution. Something to do with permissions, possibly?

    No I dont think so, but I do have some javascript redirecting from the main directory to a sub-directory as soon as you connect. I dont think this should make a difference tho.

    badwolf, sorry for offtopic - I don't use linkmetro and don't know how to help... just a quick warning: search this forum for posts about linkmetro - seems like this software is simply a waste of time'n'money and a good chance to be penalized

    when it verifies the license it uses the server varibles , to verify the site has paid, if your server isn't returning your domain name then it will give that message

    put

    <?
    echo $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME'] ;

    ?>

    on a php page and see it prints the domain name , if not that might be it

    just file a ticket with them they should tell you how to fix it
