I have been running websites for the last 10 years and know link management very well. It is fair to say that over the years i have tried most software solutions to check back links and over time have spent a lot of time making sure partners link back etc.

I have been developing an inovative automated solution for storing, managing and checking link placements stay in place and are not changed to the detriment of the user.

I have been in development for the past 7 months and may launch tail end of this year. I am very interested to hear what oppinions you have, in particular if you use anything in the market now, what works, what doesn't work and what you would like to see in a product. Also i am very interested in how people manage their links now - do you use a home built solution?

When i launch i will be offering a 30 day free trial to all users as i believe this product will sell itself when people try it.

Additionally, i am also looking for people to trial the solution which i believe is totally unique. Please include your email address if you are interested in giving it a go and i will ensure you are included in the trial - i am genuinely looking for people with interest to give me their feedback.

    Really do appreciate any feedback.

    Thanks

    Richard

My staff build all my links and always put the URLs in excel files. I then use andy black's link checker which sorts them out into dofollow/nofollow/not present (it creates 3 lists) I then run them through his other software 'index checker' which tells me which links are in Google's index then makes another 2 lists (indexed/not indexed) I can then work some magic to try get them indexed then run them through again - rinse and repeat until they're all indexed.

    Works good BUT:

they are web apps only - no desktop version
    there is no memory.

So ideally these functions would be in one desktop program which would save the lists so that you good open and re-check at any time.

I'll PM you my email, would like to do some BETA testing for you!

Guys thanks for your emails. Many people still use excel and i know why. I have tried every solution out there - my motivation to build what i am building now.
My solution will check the links stay in place, validate # outbound links on target page, will check for noindex and nofollow links and will check Page rank drops on your partners links pages. Where this solution stands out - there is an automated solution for emailing out and managing replies back in. The only time the user has to do anything is when the automated action fails. I am also incporporating an import function so that excel sheets can be brought in.

In any case - would love to add you to the list of Beta testers.

For anyone who wants to get involved please email : or post your email address here.

    Appreciate the posts.
