have read a lot of information about link location. But opinions differ: some are sure that the beginning is the best, for there's hardly anyone who will read till the end. I agree, but if the content is crap. But what if it's really good? Links to home page. i put them in the very end. Does it work?
In my opinion, it does not matter ...Unless you have an extraordinary long web page that the bots time out whle indexing
If I searched for something and found it, I'll read it and move along... Often I'll scroll till the very end of the article and never see the footer of the page. And honestly, did you know that there is a copyright notice on the bottom of every page here? vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2007, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. Now, if Digital point started to sell a link along with that, how long would it be before you actually noticed? Bots will read it (unless your page is ungoddly long like KC TAN mentioned) but many humans never will.
i think it's better to have a link inside the content is the best . i think one of the google criterias for detecting the paid links is link place . because of this i dont like footer links
so link exchanges now are forbidden as well? If I have 10 link exchanges then how it is possible to place those 10 link in one content? My content will be worse..
