Link Juice passed through a 301 redirect worth the same?

  1. #1
    Good Day,
I have a question for all the experts. I am talking with a few clients about offering them SEO services. I am no expert, but their niches are not very competitive and I have been able to get my sites to #1 (out of 67,000,000) in google.
Now here is the catch. Since they do not have much money at this point, I am offering to work on commission (for every sale or client the get I get a percentage). That is all well and good, but my concern is that once they get to #1 they stop paying. And since their niches are not very competive chances are they will not drop very quickly.
In order to garantee that they keep paying I was thinking of creating backlinks to a domain name under my control and then pass on the link juice via a 301 redirect to their site. If they stop paying I simply get rid of the redirect and over time their backlinks disappear (in theory).

    Would that work?

    Thanks for any insight.
