Link is being prefixed

Hi Guys,

Throughout this site:

http://www.madrid-guide-spain.info

any time i try to link to an external link on the page itself and not within the forum eg the homepage I get the link prefixed with my site.

EG: Say I link to google from the homepage with the < a href> it comes up with

http://www.madrid-guide-spain.infohttp://www.google.com

Any advice most appreciated. I´ve spent days on this

 

It sounds like the base href is pointing to your domain, adding it to the beginning of your external links, yet I did not fine a BASE HREF tag in your source code, so this may be on the servers end.

 

you aren't adding the http:// to the links

 

Could it be a rewrite or htaccess problem then?

it should be
http://www....

Just noticed it was the missing :

It should be:

Just what Loco.M was stating, you forgot the ":". Good eye Loco.M! I missed that one.

 

Disregard the above reply...I typed too slow and you posted before me.
