    if someone steals your affiliate link and uses that, that person is a dumb and you will get credit for that sale. no one will do any such thing

    See, your affiliate link basically has something at the end of the website's normal link.
    That is your affiliate code.
    When someone buys a product at a URL with your affiliate code attached then you get commissions, however some evil :p people don't want you to get commissions and remove your affiliate code then purchase the product.
