Link From Yahoo Profile

I noted that one high-ranking site had a link from a Yahoo Profile. Considering that Yahoo has top ranks in Google and Alexa, shouldn't a link from anywhere in Yahoo be a valuable link?

What do experienced members think?

 

Maybe, but I doubt it.

 

Yahoo is a huge, saturated site. On top of that they are probably using nofollow. Even though every little helps i would not personally bother with this.

can't hurt to add your url to your yahoo profile.. it's just like ( well sorta ) adding your url to your DP profile..

It isn't a great link, but a links, a link

 

If that link has some good PR that should give you a good result. But most of the time, it doesn't have a good PR as it is a simple yahoo profile, thats why it doesn't come in any good

 

Yeah, that's my take too. It does not hurt to add your link there.

I don't think it add much value. There are thousands of yahoo profiles out there and they have nothing to do in SEO.
