Hi, If you wanted a link for PR juice only, does it really matter if your link is on a site other than english (if your site is in english) ????? Cheers .... Gerald.
Of course it matters. It helps best for English search by people in that region, but they also count for PR and subject trust.
A link is a link after all, maybe this one will be a little less valuable but it will sure help so get it if you can. I suspect that Google translates webpages so even if the link is on a page in a different language but the page is themed, will be more valuable.
My site's language is English, if I get a links from Spanish language sites, where I use Link title, description in Spanish then what happen. Please suggest...
It's obviously not the best link to have for the search engines - but then natural links are generally not going to have your preferred link-text anyhow. It is however a good link to have in the sense that the traffic it brings will be that portion of the original site's traffic that's more highly educated and more likely to link to your site in future. I like getting links from Eastern Europe for instance because those are very new online markets - and the sites that link to me now are likely to be authority sites in their market 5 years from now. Those links will make my site turn up in their local serps faster. But right now: they get shown cheap adsense ads, so their probably bringing down my income a bit. Anyhow: I wouldn't worry about it. It's just another link from a fan of your site. Be happy about it. Some links are always going to be more valuable than others. But any link that isn't from a spammy site is a good link in my book - especially if it's on topic.
if the page has a high pr then it i think it will def work try it out whts the problem. after all high pr means quality page and a link form such a page is good for your website also
