link from edu and govt site ?

I want to exchange links with stock related govt and edu sites. If possible, not a link exchange with them but one way link from them is what iam thinking of. Please guide. Your help in this regard will be greatly appreciated !

well its difficult to get one link from edu and gov sites. unfortunately u cant even purchase gov links.

Make a gr8 ( I said gr8) site and links from top class sites will come automatically.

If your site as enough quality, approach the .edu webmaster and ask for a link.

Do a press release of your site and maybe a quality .edu and .gov will be please to add your url to their site.

 

There is no real guide to follow to get linked on an .edu or .gov site. If there was a guide it would sell for a TON of money and then would be useless a month or so later. It's all about creating great content that keeps people coming back or gives them a good reason to link to you from a .edu or .gov. Try and contact the website directly, give them a good reason why they should link to your website. You asked for more answers, however there really are no other answers. If it was so easy to do then everyone would be doing it. I hate to say that, but it is the truth.

 

i also think you should email the .edu site webmasters but you need to have good content. if not it'll be a waste of time!

 

You might get the .edu links but not .gov It's not easy to get one.

just type in google "inurl:.edu inurl:blog" and start posting to blogs and so on....

 

i think people will not make link exchange with gov and edu web sites. people are prefering to sell links on these types of web sites. buying links on those web sites is easier
