Most blogs use the "nofollow" tag in there comment section. This is to try and slow down the amount of comment spam to the blogs. However there are some people out there that just do not understand that spamming the comment section over and over again is just a waste of there programs times. This has become a problem on my blog and deleting a good amount of spam links throughout the day. By leaving comments on blogs, that is another way for to network within your niche and possibly attract readers of that particular blog to yours if you reply with good comments.
on yahoo perspective, it does, on google, if it has no follow on it, yes, but the site needs to be trusted (not banned, nor bad neighborhood) to be considered a quality backlink
i dont think that they will be considered as quality backlinks. google can understand blog comment links and it will consider you as a spammer. nad on ther other wise , most of the blogs are using nofollow on their links because of this , google will ignore those links
Most individual blog posts have PR0 so even if they have "dofollow" on they are not worth much. It's more about getting the authors attention if they are a small blog or traffic if it is on a big blog.
i give a link to people that comment in my blog, it resets everymonth, so you can hava e pr4 backlink for commenting in my blog. spam comments will be deleted, so try to give at least 1 line comments. its the blog in my sig, says something of money opportunities.
Do a search for dofollow, as this is a growing movement. Especially try doing Stumble searches for blogs and dofollow, you may be surprised what you find.
thanks for your comment and time...i've seen a blog comment with a good PR and dofollow...thats why i ask whether is it worth to take the advantage to make some honest comment but not spam.
some replys in digitalpoint have pr4,3, but i dont know if they have nofollow tag, and if they count, and i really dont care.
most blog use nofollow attribute but if it not then it will be consider as a backlink of your site...
Most blogs do use the nofollow attribute, so the links in those comments will not count. The good news is, I've found a list which contains over 160 blogs that do not use the nofollow attribute. You can find it here http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=420759.
I have dofollow on my blog, but if anybody spams (if their name is "John" but they write their name to be "Increase Earnings On Myspace Templates"), I rename them to "A Sh** Website", to give them some rubbish google juice
Hi, Ok, I've seen a couple of blogs thats says "nonfolow" only if nonfolow shows the blog will be a nonfolow one? Does any one knows a tool for searching with in blog post and see the PR of that post? (Not the first page PR)
