Makinf websites just for the links that you will put in them, at this time this is not a good strategy.
How hard would it have been for you to search this on the net? On the World Wide Web, a link farm is any group of web sites that all hyperlink to every other site in the group. Although some link farms can be created by hand, most are created through automated programs and services. A link farm is a form of spamming the index of a search engine (sometimes called spamdexing or spamexing). Other link exchange systems are designed to allow individual websites to selectively exchange links with other relevant websites and are not considered a form of spamdexing. SOURCE: Link Farm
but... but.. then he wouldn't be able to get his signature link out there lol... I find a lot of posts on here similar to this on here... it sucks.
LMAO!!!!!.. Someone offering "affordable seo services" in their signature, might not want to be asking those types of questions here, huh? Probably better to do some research of their own....
I love it. Someone comes in here and asks what link farming is - then is offering SEO Services in their sig link. Come on...don't embarrass yourself man. At least google it if you don't know.
it is make a website just to get links, these are called splogs, if google finds you, they will deindex your site
Link Farming is nothing but the resource page of your website with collection of other websites at one page.
Link farming is often not recommended by good SEO experts and it is often considered as black hat SEO.
Link farming is not the coolest technique to be using, and yes, Google is starting to crack down on it. I've got a question though. A lot of sites that link farm create these spammy unrelated sites just for links. What if the sites are actually relevant. Good content, related, and link to a proper section of the site you are trying to market. This is in essence a link farm but a quality one that can be beneficial to visitors. Would this be an okay method. I'm wondering because i have a client who wants to go this route but as an SEO professional, im a bit concerned thanks for any feedback!
