yes imho but when done properly hard for them to detect.

 

I totally agreed with Arnold it is a Black hat technique but it is hard to discover by the search engine but i prefer to keep distance from this technique.

I would like to say Link farming is a SEO technique that can produce some great results if implemented properly. If you don't do it properly then it can become black hat and you get penalties for that.

It has nothing to do with agriculture. In fact, unless you are milking cows and exchanging the milk for links, SEO and farming don't generally mix well together.

Link farms are sites that contain lots of links, all linking to each other. I don't know whether it's grey hat, black hat, purple hat or whatever, it's just a dumb thing to do because it's easy to detect.
