I am working on some sites in Spanish and I wonder if it makes any diference getting links from english language sites. i suppose for the relevancy it will be better to get links form spanish sites. But I dont know how Google looks at it. Maybe the page value is equally transmitted by links abnd the language does not matter.
    Has anyone experience with this?

links from other language sites can be just as good especially if your anchor text is spelt the same and surrounded by relevant content. in terms of value equally transmitted depends on page PR and number of outbound links.
