    What about thematically link exchange? Is it useful for website? Or it is just an another "time waste" action?

    Themed links are absolutely fantastic to achieve good rankings and are given high weightage compared to non-themed links. But they are very expensive if you buy. Instead if you do link exchange with webmasters of similar niche and themed website, then its a win-win situation. Still one-way themed links are hard to find.

    Nothing big but one major benefit doing link exchange with related sites is getting targeted traffic.
