You can get related links only from big forums , Try Link exchange forum section at DP ,

you can use also backlinks.com and linkmarket.com
they are both easy to use link exchange programs.
both of them require pr3+ site

Try to link to relavent websites that focus on keywords you are targeting. This will help you PR rank.

 

i think there are two key point.

* making link exhange with related sites
* making link exchange with manual ways. dont use the automatic link exchange probrams or sites

 

No, they don't? I guess you can add any site to linkmarket.com (don't know about the other site).

Besides you will get many link requests from other non releated sites. They will ask you to place a link to them, and as soon as you do this they will delete your link from their site.

backlinks.com I used for a very long time...exchanged links on 6 - 8 pages, and it never helped at all. didn't raise PR, didn't get traffic or better listings, nothing. In fact - I firmly believe that it sent one of my sites to supplemental hell. Google is constantly evaluating link exchange schemes, and when they find one they penalize people for it. backlinks has you add some PHP code to your site to add the links and I believe google is keeping track (based on the code) who is using this (or other) link exchange services. Either that - OR, if you get 'bad-neighborhood' links you can get penalized too.

I you haven't used it, this is how it works. You list a page to exchange links on. You place the PHP code on your page. When links come in you approve them. So you can deny casino's, mail order brides, etc. BUT - once someone exchanges links with you and their link is on your site (through the auto PHP code)...all they have to do is update the link text and URL and they are instantly displaying a DIFFERENT site and URL (that you didn't approve). This happenned to me many times, and sites were listed I totally didn't approve.

My experience with backlinks (and services like them) is that they are bad, bad, bad...

 

The best way to work this around if exchanging links with sites directly.

 

be cool and talk to other webmasters like talking to a normal person because they may see you as a mistake if you rely on your scripts.

exchange links with other site depneds upon:

site have equal or high page rank.
exchange links with only site related to your site

 

u must pay some dollars to have links ..

 

For a new site the best place to start isweb directories and requesting for links from other sites with similar content. Replying in forums and blogs is another cool way.I have a list of directories in my site if you wish.

ok, but hasnt it opposite effect for search engines - these link farmes ... i think search engines check these sites and no index them
