From what I've read the only way to get flagged is to post the link category pages Arelis builds for you. Many things automated are detectable, but if you use Arelis to organize and manage link exchanges and then build the pages yourself, you should be ok.

That is exactly right. Arelis (and PR Maximizer) help bring discipline and a degree of automation to your tedious link building activity. And unless you use the output file of Arelis, there is really nothing that google would object to (and why would they?). I am not even sure google would penalize pages built by Arelis, there is nothing un-kosher about exchanging legit links IMHO.

Does PR Max build pages like Arelis does? This seems like 50% of the value to me.

By the way, after examining the pages that Arelis builds, my impression is that there are no distinguishing characteristics, just simple html code.

Do you people still use Arelis? I always knew that wide advertising can make even such a poor tool like arelis to be used by everyone :(((

Ok, not really poor - but there are much better tools which do ALL the things arelis can do AND a lot of others.

Guys, take a look at LinkAssistant (www.link-assistant.com). It can anything arelis can + shows Google PR + shows Google/MSN/Yahoo popularity + sends AND recieves email + sends a number of emails at once (not one-by-one like Arlis) + generates LINKS PAGES (it really generates PAGES with MY design, MY css, etc. - not like arelis, generating some piece of s.it, which must be fully 'regenerated' manually) + ... + + + + + ... + can even import links from Arelis projects :)))

Oh, my post sounds like a poor ad :(
Well, I'm just trying to help, folks

    Best regards, Nick

So far I have used arelis and have generally been fairly happy with it - the biggest disadvantage as far as I am concerned with it is that as soon as you get to the point of 'building' the directory to put into your site - it completely rebuilds all of the code and wipes out your description texts etc - which is not too much of a problem when you have a few pages of links but when it starts getting big then it is a real pain

I bought Arelis over a year ago and just couldn't get my head around it, I found the tick boxes confusing and found that 90% of the websites it finds using your keywords are a total waiste of time, amature pages with no PR!

In the end I found it slow and irritating!

    Strongly recommend www.linksmanager.com
Completely automated but you still have full control about everything – the choice is yours. Will give you also access to www.linkpartners.com With this combination it can’t be any easier in my opinion to build your links campaign.
