I have tried a few things but one I really like is:
    PR Max
I like it because it lets you fill out the information for the email you want to send and then choose the sites you wish to exchange links with based on searches for certain keywords etc. It also lets you mark websites as contacted, linked, refused, etc. You can search for as many sites as you like, see how many inbound/outbound links those sites have, what their pr is, save the info to an exel doc etc. It's pretty cool.

I have tried the one by alexa, but for some reason i didnt like it as well. Actually i think i tried an earlier version that was a bit more complex and i wasn't really in the mood for it. I am sure I will check it out again in the future.

Agreed - But.. to make a very long story short, sometimes there are reasons for exceptions.

oops, for some reason when they mentioned alexa i was thinking it was axandra .. too similar :p

    so um.. let me rephrase:
I have tried the one by axandra, but for some reason i didnt like it as well. Actually i think i tried an earlier version that was a bit more complex and i wasn't really in the mood for it. I am sure I will check it out again in the future.

Design1, I've just trialed it now and it's awesome! I hate spending hours on finding links and emailing people! Worth the $99 in my opinion.

Ok, sounds interesting, but does anyone worry about being flagged out as a spammer using these tools? Just curious.

    Thanx.

it completely depends on how you use them. if you use them responsibly, no, you're not in much risk I'd say.

Does anyone have both Arelis and PR Maximizer? I am keen to see a comparison. I do have Arelis, but can always use an even better tool (since link exchange is tedious even using these tools).

    Thanks for the opportunity Steve.
Well the main difference between Arelis and PR Maximizer is that Arelis has nothing to do with PageRank. They both will help you find linking partners; however, PR Maximizer further aids you in finding the ones that will actually benefit you. It is better to have 10 links in that have a PR of 6, than 500 links in with a PR of 0. PR Maximizer will cut that research out for you. However, there are other features that are similar to each other.
If you would like to try PRM, I will set up a discount link for the people in this forum. Shoot me an email and I will send you the link.

Also, yes please use the program responsibly and you will not be tagged a spammer.

    Regards
    Trey

I don't know exactly what prowler does, but I have seen the online demo of PR Maximizer (url sent to me when I emailed them), and it is basically Arelis with PR added. i.e. in Arelis you find partners and you can email them, but really cannot do it by PR priority.

If interested, watch their online demo. Hey I have nothing to do with this company, and I hope putting the url here is ok (admin, please delete otherwise): http://www.powerwriting.com/maximizertut.htm

musiclover, what does prowler do differently. This is turning into a good product eval forum :)
