link exchange rules

    what is the deal with this site,someone I know was in the process of exchanging links with someone else on site and then wakes up to a 7 day ban.
    can you or can you not exchange links with someone on site?:(

    Yeah...my friend was banned a few days ago...he had lots of itrades...He was banned because he do not read the guidelines well...
