Hi, In the past month I've been asking relevant sites to link to my site. Before sending a mail with a link exchange request I've done the following: * Checked these sites are really relevant to mine. * Added their link to my site. After sending about 50 mails to 50 sites, I got no replies.. I guess these sites get by mail every day a lot of these requests. Is this the right way of doing it ? Am I missing something here ? How can I make this process more efficient ? Good advices will be most appreciated.
Don't put links to those site right away, wait for an answer from their webmasters. Are you sure your site is good? You have to provide some value in order to get backlinks. Good luck!

Domain name is accurate for SEO. But google page rank for that site is 0 again b'coz of no backlinks from high PR pages. That site does not have a single backlink in google. So when you request web masters to get backlink from high PR sites they would be in loss if they provide u backlink as your backlink to them will not improve their PR value. That is the point why no body ios replying. But i may give u few tips for improving PR and do SEO..... I need informations regarding How Old Is Your Site (with this domain) then i can give some seo tips which i used in my case as i'm also a beginer in dis field...
Again your site has good design good domain and all good contents for becoming a good site. it has all potential but u need to do some work.
I forgot the link..to this post..so was late.... TIPS perhaps google will update PR values for pages this august so u need some handy backlinks before that....to get a minmum PR 2 Visit other related blog (try this in any PR3 PR$ or higher blogs) by searching in google and there sign the comment form and put some valuable comments regarding that post and in name put your original name and in URL or website put the website's adress....most blogs have a form to comment in...there it asks for a url and shows the link for that url in that page...so u got a backlink here....... 1st 2-3 backlinks would invoke google to index your site then after google crawls your site do continue posting in related blogs and get backlinks.....comments should ne appear to the blogger as spam then he may delete......you can do link exchange with some directories that offer free services..and in those sites where reciprocal backlink is allowed (don't contact webmasters) see if thgey have a form for add links or not.....search google for free backlinks......also do link exchange with sites with PR0 they won't hesitate..... start a topic in appropriate category in DP here asking LInk Exchange required.... it'll be better if you buy a textlinkads service to get indexed by google soon....or pay say $5 per month for some of paid directories.
