    Hey there,

When doing link exchange for my site. Does it make a difference in backlink quality on what link there using for my site.

for example, will it make a difference if the link pointing to my site would be something like Http://www.mysite.com?id=XX or would it be better not to pass paramerters (http://www.mysite.com).

    thanks.

Will adding parameters result in a different page?

If yes, than you'll want to consider your link building strategy. Linking to your home page is important, but you'll also want to consider deep linking into other content on your site. Deep linking is an important strategy in link building.

If you're site is built with a lot of parameters, I'd consider mod_rewrite to make your URLs a bit more friendly for users and engines. It's not very favorable to have many id= type parameters.
