So I have a reciprocal link with another blog and I just recently discovered that the site has been marked harmful by Google. This sentence appeared below the site in a Google search query: The question is how can/will this affect my website? If it's not good to have a reciprocal link with such a site, will it be enough for me to remove the link? What if the other party leaves a link to my site?
Not sure but, i guess those 2 operate seperately as harmful sites don't lose SERP, so in terms of SEO you shouldn't be worried, but then again i'm not sure, just thinking out loud.
I read your post. It seems somehow different. In my case, it is isolated to a single html file (hopefully), and therefore easily corrected. I simply removed the virus loading script from the html page. That is to say, my page is not infected.
okey guys I'm agree with you, If it was one way link and coming from any webdirectory then what is your opinion?? Regards Aryans
Remove ASAP, what more indication do you need that G sees this as a bad neighbourhood. I wouldn't worry about them linking to you though, I think if you keep your on site clean, the off site wont hurt.
If you think it could harm you (which I think is) then get your link out immediately on that site. It's ok for them to link to you. But you linking to them, you should think about that.
