Link exchange question with 'harmful' sites.

So I have a reciprocal link with another blog and I just recently discovered that the site has been marked harmful by Google.

This sentence appeared below the site in a Google search query:

The question is how can/will this affect my website? If it's not good to have a reciprocal link with such a site, will it be enough for me to remove the link? What if the other party leaves a link to my site?

Not sure but, i guess those 2 operate seperately as harmful sites don't lose SERP, so in terms of SEO you shouldn't be worried, but then again i'm not sure, just thinking out loud.

I read your post. It seems somehow different. In my case, it is isolated to a single html file (hopefully), and therefore easily corrected. I simply removed the virus loading script from the html page. That is to say, my page is not infected.

Remove ASAP, what more indication do you need that G sees this as a bad neighbourhood.

I wouldn't worry about them linking to you though, I think if you keep your on site clean, the off site wont hurt.

If you think it could harm you (which I think is) then get your link out immediately on that site. It's ok for them to link to you. But you linking to them, you should think about that.
