Question to people on this forum There are so many link exchange sites, network on the internet. Do they really work? Did anyone have a big boost after joining some of these networks? If yes, can you please tell me which are the best once. Please do not plate your own sites that you want to promote! Thanks
the DP network is easily the most powerful I've seen-- even after the nofollow stuff was added to the network (it's allowed, but not required).
You should check out www.linkexchangedirect.com it's free. It's work for a couple sites that i Submitted on so..
I've been playing around with backlinks.com on some of PR4 and PR5 subpages. It is working out pretty well. You put their code on your page and then request swaps with other sites or approval others request with your site. You can swap with 11 sites at a time. No problem getting links, but you need to check it every week or so to keep all 11 positions filled. I'm running backlinks on 6 pages and I'm getting 66 PR3+ backlinks.
I guess it really depends on what you're trying to get out of all this. Personally, I tried a few of these sites, namely linkmetro and backlinks and I was very disappointed with the results. The problem with these types of sites is that many do not have quality sites trading links, and even if they have quality sites listed, those sites do not respond to your trade inquiries (as they were probably manually added). Linkmetro has a pretty good inventory of links, I get about 5-10 link requests a day. Most of these sites want to place me on the 131st dynamically generated link page along with viagra, porn, and gambling websites. These types of links serve absolutely no benefit, since that page will probably never earn any sort of page rank or bring me traffic. Backlinks is exactly the same...only difference is that their link inventory is smaller. The best thing I would suggest is doing it the old fashioned way, finding quality link partners and asking them to exchange links with you. It may be archaic, but it's probably the best way for obtaining QUALITY link partners. DP also has some great forums with great people willing to exchange links. Ideally, I would like to see someone come up with a website where high quality link partners can get together and exchange links. The membership requirements would be strict but fair, with outbound link and PR being a criteria for acceptance. Actually thats not a bad idea...http://www.exchangepr.com is for sale for $1,000 (not a plug....i promise). Now that I think of it...I would be interested in being part of something like this.
Look in the Buy, Sell, Trade Forums for Link Sales and Link Exchanges. You have to be a DP member for 2weeks before you can post new topics in BST forums though.
