if a site has been bookmarked in digg or delicious by about 200 different users (all different IP Addresses) does Google and other engines count that as 200 links or just one link since its from the same site ??? im a little confused thinking which one is more effective ?
Digg links are NOFOLLOW and redirected. Most social bookmarking site links are useless for linkbuilding because of this. Link exchange is pointless as it is time consuming and reciprocal links are of very low value. You need to find one way backlinks.
i dont think link exchange are worthless. If we exchange links with relevant relevant sites, high PR i think it has some value in the eyes of google.
Google will consider it as a single link but value of that link will be more as it is digged by 200 different users.
Social bookmarking is far far effective and genuine than link exchange. You should distribute your page/post to several bookmarking website in order to make it more effective.
it's counted as a single link, but still effective to PR.. if only from digg or just del, no effect to your site. To make it effective, you should post it to another bookmarking sites.
You can't use social book marking for the Link building social bookmarking help you to crawl your link quickly it's not give you strong link. For the link building you have to work on the forum posting, classified submission, blog commenting and directory submission.
