Link Exchange legal?

Just wonder, I'm confuse with regards to the link exchange, is link exchange something that we as a webmaster can do? Please help me to clear this out. Thanks

 

Depends on what you call "legal", I guess. But link exchange (also called reciprocal link), 2 or more way, is a link building strategy that seems to work. Even though it's not the best strategy out there (one way links are), it can boost a site's rankings.

First of all, you must understand that it is not about legal or illegal: Google doesn't make the laws ! Nothing to do with the State, it's a private company ;-)
