Like someone already said, the best way to get links, even one way links, is to build good content and when people like it they will link to it thats how I got my links.

It usually helps if you add shocking content, or something very rare and/or valuable. Adding content like that has helped me get a lot of one way links on my blogs.

i. link come from a site which is relevant in topic to your site
ii. you do not over do it

I have started to re-impliment link exchanges but am requiring the incoming link come from a different site than I send the link to. So in fact, I am using a link exchange where all outgoing links are on one page but none will be direct reciprical links - any comments on this method?
