I notice a new thread coming up here every few days with a variation of the same general topic: * What are the link building strategies for 2012? * Link Building: What works after panda/penguin/EMD etc.? and so on... This is not really surprising given the importance and significance of Link Building as it relates to SEO today. Last week I posted a reply to one such thread (asking what works in link building today) that I think many would find useful. I quote it below: I invite other experienced and knowledgeable SEO/Link Building strategists to share their views.
Yes you've covered almost all the relevant points. In fact, recently we also had made an infographic about link diversity covering these points: http://blog.directorymaximizer.com/...-diversity-and-how-to-achieve-it-infographic/ Link diversity has become all the more important these days after all the recent updates by Google.
The funny thing is that link diversity has been really important for a very long time, "but for some reason", people are just now realizing how important it really is.
value links, You seem like a guy who knows his internet marketing stuff and so if you ever become tired of all that manual work then drop me a line to build a bot for you. Cheers!
I think you've described it quite well... but I wouldn't swap any links at all. It's one thing that Google's been penalizing heavily even 7 years ago...
i think the most important factor is Link Source Diversity that you mentioned some guys depend on 1 thing like blog commenting and neglect the other and that doesn't look normal to google
