Link Directorys - What are they?

    Would anyone please discribe what Link Directorys are, how they are used, and any other information about them?

    Also, are they the same as Directory Submission's?

    Link Directories are organized lists divided in categories, that provide links to other websites. Example: DMOZ

    Directory Submission's are when you suggest a site to the directory.
    There are also some directories that accept automatic submissions.
