Link directories vs. Blogpost

    Lets say you have a linkdirectory PR3 and a blog PR 3.

    You get one link on the Lin directory and one link in a blogpost with 100 words about the site the link is for...

    Which link has more value Link directory or blogpost?

    To evaluate individually blog link and directory link on page rank 3, is really a difficult thing and it is difficult to say this but both link have weigh age in search engine algorithm and get equal status.....

    As long as the blog is from the relevant niche and is not one of those review only blog, in content link from it would certainly carry more weight age than link from the directory.

    for me.. its the same can give benifits to the site, since they have different value to SE's.

    A link wrapped around relevant content will always have higher value than just a stand-alone link.

    Link from directories are always the quality links.

    Probably the directory, unless the blogpost has a lot of relevant content.

    Blogpost will be more valuable here. Directory contains already many external links and less content. So blogpost will give more advantage here.
