Well can some one tell me how to take the first step towards link building ?
I am just starting in blogging and would like to know how to promote and get
more traffic.

I've always wondered how do blogspot blogs do. How well do they rank in the search engines?

 

well i am just new to it, before making investment i want to see with my own blogs how i can learn things.

The "best" way to build links is to create quality content on a regular basis.

Right now, you have a bunch of videos from YouTube. It looks very similar to crickethighlights.info and crickethighlights.wordpress.com and cricclips.com. If you want to stand out from the crowd, you have to do something different. It doesn't take much time to paste a video in a blog but it does take time to give some commentary and opinions along with the video. Rate the videos, have a list of your top 10 favorite clips, become a member of forum.cricketweb.net and contribute intelligently. Getting a delicious.com account and filling it with your own pages might bring some traffic but if your content isn't something people want to see, the majority of them are going to leave in less than 2 seconds.

Are you doing this because you love it or because you want to make money? If you're doing it because you love it then put some more time in and create a website that gives other cricket lovers unique valuable information. Put yourself in their shoes, would you visit your site again if you found it on the internet? If it was me, I would just go subscribe to the PakPassionVideos channel on YouTube and bookmark pakpassion.net.

If you create quality content, the money will come. I wouldn't spend a lot of time "testing" on blogspot. It only costs $9 for a domain and $5 a month for hosting. If you're serious, go ahead and get your own domain like cricketvideosunplugged.blogspot.com did.

Before you go for Link building do the following

1.Get your site indexed in Google
2. Get your site listed on Popular Social Networking sites
3. Put some adsense for you to know where your heading in terms of earnings

i have a bit of adsense code on it, but as expected with the site i have its not making any money to worth take notice of
