Link Development Services

I am struggling with time to build links, and I am thinking about looking for a company or individual who specialises in working with companies like mine on link development.

A few questions to those who have used these types of companies.

    1) Did your rankings improve due to this service?
    2) What's the standard rate for this type of service?
    3) What would you say are the disadvantages of using this type of service?

Please don't PM me if you offer this type of service and do not promote your company in this thread. I am looking for feedback from members who have used this type of service only.

    Take a look at gotlinks.

    Yes.

If you loose those links, such a large number of them, you're in deep shit. Also, the links aren't permanent, you must make sure their subscription is paid for every month.

gotlinks unfortunately doesnot give you quality links. Most of their links are PR 0 directories. You might get some credit from MSN and Yahoo but nothing from G.

I tried it for 6 months - paid $55 every month. Eventually I stopped last month because in those 6 months I wrote enough articles and received enough backlinks that compensated all gotlinks BLs.

Also during my article submission - some of my articles were picked up by high PR blogs - very famous blogs in the niche - and not only did I get quality BL but also got some traffic and sales.

So if you are really serious in building BLs, write good quality informative articles - I would say at least 20, and submit them to good directories (your articles with BLs will be picked up by 1000s of other publishers) and within few months you will have loads of BLs pointing to the URL you want to.

    Good luck...

Good info... question: how many article directories do you have to submit them to to see real results? Do you submit all articles to every directory, or do you spread it out?

    Thanks

Submission works for indexing ..not traffic at least from what I have seen...(everyone is diff) ..so if that what you are after ..700 dir over a few month is real nice.. :)

I have submitted to around 15 directories. Eventually my articles got picked up by other publishers and is now out there. I suggest you submit one article everyday. Just like you write your blog. Spread it out. It's like Piggy bank. You don't stash in 100 bucks at once but fill it up one or two penny a time. Similarly - spread out your article submission.

How many directories is a trivial question - you will have to try & experiment.

    Good luck.

What do you mean submit one article everyday? Where are you submitting them? I guess that is where I am missing something.
