Link Development & Position On Google

After you have done some backlink building and need to check your position in SERPs what do you use?

I have been trying hidemyass proxy service but I am in the UK and it takes me to google.co.uk and I need to check google.com!

When I change it manually it still takes me back to co.uk this is down to Google and its geo stats taking you to the most relevant site according to your IP address.

Which proxy site do you use to check your link development is successful?

Delete cookies and then use hidemyass proxy service. It should work fine . Also there are other loads of proxy service sites based on phproxy and glype. use the ones which have least advertisements. This should help you. Most of the time look for a mobile proxy , it would be beneficial

You can just sign up for the google webmaster tools. There you can see at which positions your site ranks on google for various search querries.

If you build many good link buildings on high PR sites, then after that you can get Link Development and High position on Google. Besides, by article submissions, social bookmarking, RSS and Ping all also promote your site efficiently.

 

I use Rank Tracker. The free version is excellent for checking SERPs.

not that I want to show off but I wrote my own C# rankings checker. what it does is basically iterate through thousands of my keyword combinations (yeah I can afford these amounts for free .. also grouped into as many groups I like) with a random delay (no less than 30-40 seconds though) scrapes googles versions and updates the positions so that I know which words go up and which down. each phrase is checked once per 5-7 days etc... I recommend investing some time in such a thingy to the ones that have any programming experience with any platform...
