If you really write good content not only in your articles but in the comments you write on other blogs and forums you will surely get a lot of traffic. Many a times when I comment on other blog it sends me 5 to 10 visitors daily.

 

Yeah... Having good / quality post either on blogs or forums will catch the attention of the other and will have tendency to click your sigs.

Blog commenting is really very effective.
2 months ago I commented on an article on smashingmagazine. And that comment has been bringing atleast 5 visitors daily to my bog till now.

 

Just make sure that all of your comments are not just spam. If you comment is a worthy comment and good content then you will get traffic from them.

 

social bookmarking and article submission is better then commenting.
well commenting is also helpful bt its more time consuming then the other ways.
