Link development has any effect on page rank now ?

    It is quite a while that PR not refreshing , has the google deeded not to refresh it anymore or they have other plan ?

    Google has basically tossed Pagerank as a tool they utilize. They won't tell you what they now use, but authority and trust are infinitely more important for ranking and linkbuilding than pagerank.

    I'll take a PR1 site with huge authority over a PR6 link and NO authority/trust.

    Google has already announced that you may as well not expect anymore PR updates. You're best bet at this day in age is to focus on other metrics like Domain Authority (DA), Page Authortity (PA), Trust Flow (TF), and MozRank... Don't just go off PageRank at this day in age.

    If i were you don't mind about pr updates because Google is not interested anymore. Focus on the website's performance in the web and how you will improve its effectiveness.

    What is pagerank? is it something mythical?

    Domain Authority (DA), Page Authortity (PA), Trust Flow (TF), and MozRan - So this are the new metrics Google use to rank websites? how do I improve them?
