Link Development for Adult Websites - Any suggestions?

    How does one do link development for an adult webmaster? There aren't many adult directories and does article submission work?

    Or can one only rely on reciprocal or 3 way link exchanges?

    Linkbaits don't really work, or do they?


    Any opinions?

    all I can say is: article submission works for you. however, you need submit useful information as many as you can. also, if you can distribute videos to video sharing sites.

    Go for TGP's, try to get included in sites like thehun.net. True, there are not many directories for adult stuff. But you can personally email adult site owners for links. Also blogs and some other tricks are good for a adult site. Think Google images.

    I have a paris hilton website, that I made one evening, coz I had nothing better to do, spent a week or two, promoting it in my free time and than forgot about it. It still recieves 20K+ unique visitors every month (after nearly 10 months since it is up). I earned more than $2k from it. Not bad, considering the effort I put into it.

    I am more into pharma nowadays, used to run adult websites in the past.

    I will also agree with kamchatka suggestion. Create TGP (of course using thumbnail galleries you have rights to publish online) galleries, for example

    http://www.yoursite55665566.com/hardcore/bangie-bangie.htm

    and submit the URL with anchor text to large free and some paid (if you can get approved) TGP thumbnail posts. If you get approved (some may take months) you will get nice traffic and visitors from it. Later on, your links will be archived.

    Of course you will find your site linked from archives with tons of links in long run (when links are archived), but you will get traffic for many months to come.... I guess you will not rank well in SERPS using this method unless you have really large web site and hundreds thousands of such links from TGP galleries and pic posts.

    Very easy: find an adult webmaster forum and talk to some adult site owners. Especially adult blog owners are looking for link trades.
