I have done a few things for my current site to get links. Currently I have been using articles and posting on well known entertainment forums that allow a back link. However my site is not adult. I was thinking of starting an adult site, but whenever I look at link programs, they always seem to shut out sites that cater to adults and adult products. I have yet to see an article directory allowing adult themed articles. For anyone in the adult biz, how the heck do you get links to your site? Are there programs out there, that cater to the adult market alone? I would of course write articles for the site, to keep content fresh, but not being able to distribute them would really suck.
I think giving away adult content is the best way. There are tons of porn blogs and news sites that simply republish free galleries and short movies - they will link to you. All you have to do is offer good content, and the market will be happy to consume it.
There are lots of links to be swapped in the adult world, especially with bloggers. There are heaps of adult webmaster forums you should be looking at, and you'll find adult site owners often appreciate the value of links more than mainstream site owners who tend to be more picky. Try netpond.com for a start
If you plan to do an adult site, I think it is not a good idea to depend on ads. You can earn from content and members.
I currently have a site where I sell magazines. After, buying vaultage (my site cannot properly configure linkvault) joining a 3 way link exchange I did not see any of them helping my site and finally after s writing articles and distributing them I have started to see 1. An increase in pr 2. Increase in SERPS for major keywords. I didn't get a noticable difference in anything until I starting sending out the articles. For a new site, I wanted to make sure that I was creating content, but also getting it out there. Aritcle marketing has been a great thing for my current site, but it is not adult related. The adult realm is new to me, but I think there is money to be made if done properly.
I have an adult site and need articles - I could definetely post your articles if they fit in with my theme. I'm having the same problem, so I don't write adult articles since I don't have any where to post them - its very difficult. PM me if interested.
There may be alot of new comers on online porn. Specially blogs. Try to f ind out them. That will be helpfull to you.
Why not try get links on some of the major adult sites in return for links back? Maybe you give them some of your adult content they give you theres ect.. And you can exchnage links and do some sort of affiliation and stuff. Just an idea
