I have been creating links now for about 2 1/2 months for a few websites and have seen very little results for the amount of links that have been created to date. In the 2 1/2 months there has been 2500 - 3000 links completed for each site over this time averaging 200 - 300 per week. The links are made up of directories, social bookmarking, Anglea & Pauls mostly with a few blog commenting, forum sig and squidoo lens links. And the anchor text are my main keywords. Example for a main KW I know that over 1000 links have been created and when I run a report I see that only about 10 of those links the search engines know about. By now I would have expected the search engines to know a lot more sites pointing to the sites I'm getting links for. I'm open to suggestions. Or would you consider just continue and ride it out. Because right now this does not seem to be working as well as planned.
Where do most of your links come from? I think by now you can see which link building method is better. Concentrate on the link building methods that are more effective. I should think Squidoo is more effective than directories.
