Link Developement Question

Discussion in 'Link Development' started by TomLivi, Oct 18, 2010.

I have recently purchased 50 links from a high pr directory. The anchor text was "garbage bin rentals" and with this i moved up quite a bit. Now I want to purchase the same package for another keyword. The question is if I do, do those links count as well and will they move my new keyword up or do they not count cause they are from the same site?

    Thanks

    Interesting question,

I have never bought a link service and its good to hear you had some positive results on it.

From what I read, links from the same website will not be as strong if you already are linked from that same website - that's why people submit links to hundreds if not thosands of websites and directories (ideally relevant and high PR as you know).

May I ask what directory you used?

You can buy from another service or ask them for another directory list.

What do you mean saying "quite a bit"? How much time it took to move up "quite a bit"?

If your site is relatively new it will help, but if you have been link building previously buying links is an excellent way to increase in serps, so I would suggest buying links from another source, too many links from the same source can harm your rankings.

The more links you have coming from a single website, the less each link counts. You can go comment on a huge blog that has a Top Commentator plugin and get 5,000 backlinks in one shot. But they're pretty worthless since they're all from the same site. If you're going to buy more links, find another quality service.

Yes you can buy from another websites as well, however, if your links are placed on the same websites with different keywords then it would give a little advantage.

Because Google counts links on the basis of pages not on the basis of sites, but also IP address is also counted so consider this point.
