Link Color Trend

Hi everybody.

Who thinks that link-color should be = text-color so that only the ad title stands out?

 

What do you mean? the link and text to be the same color?

 

I know most people think that the first ad will get a higher CTR:
But does anybody think that the one with the red link would perform better?

 

Yes, I think that red link draws attention better. It depends of other colors on site.

 

If you tell me that all colors should be of the text color then yes I can think about it and find a reason.
Otherwise I think the title being underlined looks much more like a link than the url, so I would set a different color to the title, a standard blue 0000FF

Most people want the adsense links to look same as normal links on your site. So the textcolor should be different then normal links and adsense unit.
