Link Cloaking Question

I just finished cloaking 5 links by way of creating an html file as clickbank recommends.
I tested this by clicking the product links on my site and was taken to the proper publisher sales landing page.

One thing I noticed is that in the address bar on some of the publishers sites I would see my hoplink at the end of their web address, and on some I do not.. Should I always see my hoplink in the address bar of the publishers landing page? Or never see it?

    Thanks!

It really depends upon the publisher.

Some of them have a script set up that will credit you as the affiliate but remove your hop at the end of the link. Reason being that it will convert better without an affiliate link in the url. More often than not this isn't the case. If you cloak your links according to Clickbank they will almost always show your affiliate id in the link.

You can check to make sure that your affiliate id is being credited by going to the order page.
