    We all know that when teh goal is to drive as much traffic as possible to a website, we want to post links with featured image and excerpt text, instead of normal link with some nice image attached. But when the website doesn't have a featured image to show? What do you do?

    I use bit.ly to mask complex affiliate links into cleaner form. But it doesn't help with the featured image problem. So I was thinking that maybe it's possible to use some other service to make shortlinks AND give the links your own texts and images? Do you guys know how to do it easy way?

    Hope you understand what I mean :) this must be common problem!
