Hello all. I have found a java link cloak generator that will make my text link mouse over look just like the web site address: example.com , instead of my full affiliate ID for all to see. The only problem is that most computers that have Microsoft installed, have a active X blocker. Here's the deal. Using a text link for my affiliate ID, I just want others to see the web site url, not my affiliate ID. With the active X blocked, it shows my whole affiliate ID in the mouse over bar. If I allow the active X on my computer (when prompted), the mouse over bar shows only the web site url in the mouse over bar. (just the way I'm wanting it). Seeing that most windows users will have the active X prompt, everyone will automatically see my entire affiliate ID until they allow the blocked content. Is there anyway around this with the java link cloak generator?
Do you mean Java or Javascript? they're two very different languages. I assume you mean Javascript and if so the only active X blocker I can assume you mean is when you run a HTML in IE on the local machine and it gives a warning at the top? Don't worry about that. When it's on a real website you won't get that warning as it's not running on your local machine and almost all browsers have Javascript enabled
