Most of people when buy links, only look at google pagerank( i used to do it myself... ), but it is totaly wrong if you want your website rank good in google search engine. So how to find website quality? First you need to find out if website you are buying from, ranks good in google search engine. You can do it by going to this keyword tool, enter website url and submit it: Now you see keywords that website ranks in google from 1-100 position. Press button "Top 10" and you will see keywords that rank in first 10 google results: If website ranks more than 20keywords press button "More" and it will display up to 100 keywords that website ranks. In this case website ranks more than 100 keywords( extremely high quality and much loved by google ). If website do not rank at least 5 keywords in "Top 10" i do not consider buying links from that website. Ok if website have more than 5 keywords i look what kind of quality keywords it ranks and how many keywords. Now we know that website ranks good in search engine and then go to next step. Now we need to know how many backlinks it has( check via yahoo site explorer ), how many pages indexed in google, how often cached by google( i like website that are cached hourly, these are regulary very high quality, well if website is cached at least once a week it is ok any more reject it... ), if you buy links for high price( from $100/month ) i would offer you to look how many new pages it gets indexed every day, also i often take a look at alexa rank(but not so important). I use this tool to check website data it shows data i need to know, so it saves some time, instead of checking it manually. Now go and check how website looks, if it is active, has regular visitors and unique continent. And final step, now you know website quality, if price acceptable for you, go and buy link. To put everything simply i check if website ranks more than 5 keywords in 1-10 results, if it does i do deeper website analyze, if it have less, than i reject without wasting more time. This is great way to buy quality links. Because if you buy links only looking at pagerank, next update your website will have higher pagerank, but will not get traffic from google or rank. I have been using this method for a while and it works perfectly. So spend your money smart while buying links, do good analyze and let your website rank best in google Pagerank It is like fashion trend to have a website with high pagerank, but it doesn't give you any rankings in google... People understand it after buying and buying high pagerank link, but see no results in rankings, only see that their website gets higher pagerank( so they have no other option earn only from pr links ) and then they sell links to others - it is closed wheel for website that do not rank in google search engine. These website have nothing: poor content, no rankings, low backlinks, low indexed pages, they have only pagerank that sell and sell it But selling these links still can make you a lot of money since there are more than enough people who will buy links only looking at pr, but it will never give you rankings, traffic, quality.
