we sell magnetic bracelets and have some good placement on yahoo, and this is only after link building started, after emailing and putting up links for hundreds of sites to not get hardly any responses or links back, then you have to take the links off of people that do not respond becasue they insist on haveing a link up first, oh boy what a drill. but i guess it is very important. anyone else running into the same issues?
yes, I did that in the beginning, until I automated the process. read this to find out what software to use http://www.jeeptransmissions.net/seo_madeeasy.pdf Good Luck!.
Manual link building can assure you links from other sites. Automated link building are not that accurate compared to the manual link building techniques
Link building has been manually exhausting for me. I'm gonna try using linkbait to get higher quantity and quality links.
I bought a quickblog from GoDaddy and then also bough traffic blazer, that also does automatic submission to search engines and directories... Nothing I couln't have done myself, but it did save me a lot of time. And when I started I had no idea where to begin with, so it actually was a lifesaver for the time. However I wouldn't renew the subscription. I could only recommend it for very busy guys and complete newbies (like I was when I bought it).
Even though it is taxing on time and efforts while securing links, but its worth it. Even though you can automate the process to save on time and efforts but nothing can replace human judgement when it comes to in selecting links to accept or not. I always do it manually, if at all I do.
It is hard work but can get you 1st position rankings for your keywords if done properly. Seven years of experience has brought top 1-2 positions for all of my main keywords in Google.
I know first hand what you mean with building links manually. In 2005, I built hundreds of links manually to one of my websites, and while it eventually shot past well over 500 visitors each day, most of my traffic came through Google, and I have since lost my ranking for various keywords. My best advice to you is to hire a Link Building company to do the work. There are plenty of people here at DP who will do it. Will it cost you hundreds per month? Yeah. But, you don't have to tire yourself out doing it yourself, and you can focus on other things. It is up to you and your budget. It is something I would think about...... Sometimes it doesn't pay to be cheap..........but at the same time, you don't want to hire a low quality link building team either. Do your research and find a good firm with affordable prices. If you don't have the money, you'll have to tough it out and do it yourself.
Hello, I agree, its painful and exhausting to manually built your links. Thats the reason why I coded a cool way of doing it without any effort; this is called Wawanet and its part of my free directory Check here for further information: http://www.wawa-directory.com/readme.php Regards Thibaut
I strongly disagree. NEVER automate the process unless you want to get banned. Link building does take time, effort and patience. There is no such thing as "SEO made easy". You want to put your time into creating "linkbait", or content that is so useful, interesting, or appealing that it begs for links without a word from you. When you create content, ask yourself, "Would someone bookmark this and come back again and again?" If not then why? Create free tools or resources, or opinionated blogs that will cause people to come back again and again.
Tman123, guess we are in direct competition. How is business (small world huh)? Feel free to PM me your business URL. I help promote Sohofive which is also in the magnetic bracelets business. Best of luck! I just had a chance to review your site. Very nice aside from a few unauthorized use of bracelet photos. I would advise on removing those photos as soon as possible or risk having your ISP shut your site down.
