    I would like to know that what exactly is link building ?
    how is it done and how does help in a website's promotion?

    moreover how can i earn money through this by offering it as a service ?

    Sorry.. you want to offer this as a service to people to make money and yet you don't have a clue what backlinks or building back links is all about...

    First I recommend you do a search on google , for the keywords , backlinks, back links and read over articles on ezinearticles.com and do a search on DP for the keywords backlinks.. and learn.. what it is all about..

    Building backlinks for your website through dir. submissions, article submissions, forum posting, blog commenting, theme sponsoring, social bookmarking etc is known as link building.

    More links means high ranking in search engines, which also means high traffic and sales or clicks on ads :)

    Links pointing to your site are your back links. The more backlinks you have, the higher you ranking will be in search engines.

    How much will you charge me to increase backlinks to my website? :D

    I wouldn't hire someone who has to ask 'what is link building'. This guy used the exact same format to ask about another topic. So I'm thinking he probably knows the answers to his questions, but wants us to build a good thread for him to have the first signature links on.

    it is completely true that i have asked the same sort of question regarding squidoo lens also

    but i dont know the answers to my questions
    moreover this is the only reason why i have asked this question

    i am new to this forum and i want to learn about these things and then offer them to people in the future

    and moreover i am unable to understand what benefit would i get by creating such a thread

    and what do you mean by "to put the first signature links on"
    i am new to this forum and couldn't understand this phrase
