That is a totally different league. Nobody said that this is the highest competition word you can find, in fact the point of doing some market research before you start something is to not go into something very competitive. Of course if you have to go into real estate, or financial services then you need some more SEO, but for niche websites 2 mil. is quite the competition. Granted, quality of the competition might vary.

 

I think the success was due to low competition. I personally have ranked few sites on page one without links, just rich keyword domain.

 

That makes me curious to how you managed to rank the sites on the first page of mr. G. Other than that, nobody said 'without links', ezinearticles.com lets you insert links, and the domain is PR6, also goarticles is PR6 I think (or something in that area) and that takes care of "quality", and articlebase.com sends out your article so you get more backlinks and that's "quantity" for you.

How many competition is your keyword?

 

good job, I'm bad on writing. I can't reach there.

 

I have managed to rank 3 on Google just after 3 weeks of link building for the keyword pay as you go mobile phones. But in late February I was de-ranked and I don’t even exist for that keyword anymore and for other similar related keyword such as payasyougo mobile phones and so on.

Now I decided to create a new mobile phone review website which I am hoping to launch by beginning of next week with lots of original content which I am getting done right now and hoping I will be able to rank high again.

 

Is there somewhere or something that I should be doing to ping important RSS feeds letting them know about a blogs latest post?

 

I've another site that ranks 2nd for 47 Million com sites....

Whats the difference between blog links and themed link then? I understand a link is a link but which one carries more link juice?
