link building Tips in 2014?

For link building --we can do every organic link building activity...... but only one condition is Your content for link building is Fresh, with high quality is must.

 

Content is still important after the recent updates. In fact Google is now trying to filter high quality sites based on the quality of backlinks they have as well as the quality of content. Most websites that got hit by the updates were the sites who were blasted by a lot of links. Make sure you have high quality content, decent quality backlinks from high quality sites and do not use blackhat seo.

Agent000 posted the write way to link build... but if you have a great link diversity because of natural link building then you can easily drop in some terms without getting flagged.... Just keep the quality high...

 

Insist of Submitting Article in high PR Article Submission site. Better try some High PR Web2.0 site and blog to submit your Article Successfully.

Yes I agree with you but more than that target on more relevant sites that could reach you the real audience...

 

There are many ways to create backlinks but i think you should choose some web 2.0 sites and submit some quality contents there, Social book marking sites and web directories also help you, you can also do blog commenting and forum posting.

guest posting is dead Google penalizing all the blogs who offer guest posting.

 

I do not think so.. Unless it a paid guest posting and the blog/site you link are guest posting farm..

 

If you source it out, then they will post to all the same blogs ie blog farm.
If you do it yourself, then choose wisely as now you are limited by time....
how many can you do in a day, and still have time for other stuff?
and will it really be effective; If you have multiple sites, then im guessing not so much...

 

I think the best strategy is sharing the content of social sides and do the best quality of content and fb posting,yahoo answering and Google plus is the best opportunity for seo or smo and web2.o blogs ,High pr article sites and press releases

 

I also agree with chrisbenson that content and back links are both important for getting the rank 1 in a search engine. We can not get the result without the unique content or link building.
Read the blog of popular webmasters like matt cutts blogs, seo moz and also others.

thats not really true, it is good to have unique content, but most of the world runs on syndication content
and seems to be fine; you can just as easily rank syndication content, it is how you choose to do it. The biggest no-no would be to have syndication content duplicated all over your pages, that may call for a penalty. Just make sure you search your content for duplicates, then delete the newest ones, for the most part, people are just to lazy to do that...
and you do not need to be #1 either; Do your keyword research, pick the best long tail keywords that will bring in traffic. The chances of your being #1 across the board on all keywords is slim to none. I would rather pick the right keywords that will bring in traffic then be #1 any day of the week; Being #1 is like having a target on your back; before you know it, the big boys are complaining to google that you are beating them out of their search results, so you must be a schemer, and before you know it, you are no where to be found in the search results anymore.

Great on-site SEO with high quality content is the way to go.

Buy 5-10 quality links per week using good long tail keywords,
then maybe in a few months you will see some traffic come in...

You have to rank your good content, if you dont, then it will
fall in the googie sea of other good content and never be seen...
With the competition out there; sitting/waiting is not an option....
