Link Building Through Facebook

Yes Facebook is no-follow, however the authority of facebook is huge.

 

The Facebook links have no value apart from the fact that they are just one more link to your site and allow for a larger number of users to come and visit your site. This link does nothing to increase the PR of your site.

 

I agree, if you can make your campaigns or make a plan to grab visitors from facebook to your site, you can get lots of good visitors.

 

Although it s nofollow but Facebook is an authority site. So, its backlinks still have good impact on our sites

 

Interesting concept. I've never tried to use facebook for backlinking. I really haven't built my own backlinks for over a year now anyways. That's one job I am happy to outsource.

Its not helpful for SERP but can drive traffic to your site

 

i have one more findings. If you post link in STATUS then it helps SEO after few months only ,not immediately. The links which i posted in month of july in Facebook is showing up now in Google Webmaster Tools.

 

I agree with a lot of people in here. Facebook will get your more traffic which can be beneficial in the long run.
