Ok I have never been that much in SEO as I can get a lot of traffic without it, But I'm making up now an Lawyers database website ( with over 50k unique pages -seo optimized ) and was going to try out the SEO to see what can it give! Can anyone say what's the best amount of links what should I post per 1 day ( it's new domain and site) to stay under radar so google won't sandbox me ? Also Is it better to make up and include there also a sitemap- does it even gives something? I have found a list of do-follow forums/blogs where I could post my links: http://onewaylinkbuilding.org/info/list_high_pr_dofollow_forums/ http://www.dailymoolah.com/weekly-link-love/14-forums-to-build-pr-3-7-backlinks-in-under-an-hour/ http://www.webgenome.com/7-high-pr-do-follow-forums http://www.freyer.com/how-to-get-do-follow-links-with-high-pagerank/ http://tucsonseosolutions.com/dofollowlistoflists http://www.caroline-middlebrook.com/blog/do-follow-social-bookmarking-sites/ PHP: So How much links per day should I post to get the best results and to stay under radar for google so by any chance it doesn't de-index me! And also How much links should I build , I guess The more the better? And Any other suggestions? Thanks a lot!
there is absolutely no guidance on this, it's impossible to say. What I would suggest however is just post 5 or 10 a day and that shouldn't harm your rankings. Google doesn't like larges spikes in back link building as it thinks you are trying to fool the system
Don't index those 50.000 pages in one go either. Matt Cutts said it raises flags. I don't have a source right now, but I think he posted it at his blog or at the google webmasters question season they had a few months back.
Like it said before, there is no fix limitation about the link you should post, but it would be wise to post around 5-10 link a day. And you can try a software like Comment Kahuna to find a blog that allow follow link, and post comment. I use it, and find out it quite useful. About link you should build, it's not about quantity but the quality of the link. For example: Good: 10 links from PR0-PR2 website. Better: 2 links from PR6-PR10 website.
Be slow in link building and sitemap helps in better search engine crawling. Backlinks are not like lotteries.
"I have found a list of do-follow forums/blogs where I could post my links:" Links from forums and blog comment are backlinks but they are not quality backlinks. I suggest you try to get relevant backlinks for your site. "so by any chance it doesn't de-index me" If getting too many backlinks for a site too quickly make it de-index, then people will start to build thousands of backlinks for their competitors in order to get their site de-indexed.
Quite true.. And theres no bar on how many backlinks you can get in one day, but you have to maintain the pace of building backlinks.
